With all of this snow, I've been knitting, knitting, and knitting! Here's some of my latest knitting projects. I've been working on a sweater vest using Noro Kureyon wool yarn. The colors are always so interesting. When you knit a sweater or vest with this yarn, it's a good idea to try and match the verigations of the colors. It's not mandatory for a short vest like I'm working on, but definitely if you are working on sleeves, for example, and you want to make sure they match.
Here's the pattern from Noro Mini Knits:
I'm knitting socks for my mother and she likes white. These are knit with soft super wash Merino wool. The ankle cuff is knit 2 purl 2 ribbing.
It's an Ann Norling basic sock pattern.

I love this post, especially the socks still attached to the knitting needles. It must be so wonderful to start out with a bit of yarn and create something so beautiful.
