Felted and Needlepunched

This neckwarmer is one of my latest felted projects.  Made from soft hand-dyed merino fleece, wool yarns, cotton threads, and recycled sari silk pieces.

Here's a closeup of the yarns needle-punched into the felted fleece.

The wide fuschia section is a piece of recycled sari silk.

 Large avacado button.
 More needle-punching effects.

It can be worn draped around the shoulders too.  It reminds me of Sante Fe.

Thank you for visiting!

Become a Fiber Artist

I've been experimenting using my Baby Lock Embellisher.

This piece is mossy green wool felt with a sheer silk scarf needle punched onto it. The piece measures 18" by 12".

It's perfect for someone who wants to try embellishing it further by adding decorative stitching, fabric bits, ribbon, buttons, beads, yarn pieces or other creative bits.

This prefelted piece is for sale in my Etsy Shop - PA Fiber Artist - stop by a take a look.

Become a fiber artist - it's life transforming and very enjoyable!

Take care.
